    Hello

    I ordered the Dell 1555 laptop for me a week ago and am not sure concerning the laptop software CD/DVD what i must receive with it?

    Must i receive the windows DVD,motherboard with all laptop drivers?

    Can any one help me; is my first laptop i am buying and am not familiar with what i should receive, as i am with a desktop PC s?!

    At minimum, you will receive the following discs-

    Operating System (to reinstall the O/S if you ever need to)
    Main Drivers (contains all drivers originally installed on the system)

    All the drivers and utilities are available to download via Dell's support site- LINK

    Dell also includes a "recovery" partition (shown as D:/ drive) that allows you to reset the entire system to factory settings.

    i just got mine .. it has vista reinstall disk.

    Mine from the Dell Outlet had Vista reinstall disk, drivers disk, webcam software, Microsoft works, and Roxio.
