at that price jump on it right away. Id pick the same processor, don't think id see any noticeable difference with the larger cache. Upgrade to home premium if you're even thinking bout gettin a tv tuner. get the intel 3945abg, its a better wifi card. Other than that, looks good. same as i would buy, if i could

I don't know why you'd choose the 1420 over the 1520 considering they're both the same price at whatever config/discount you're getting, and the 1520 has a better video card.

I'm heading off to college and I'm not sure if the difference in portability is worth the difference in faster cpu but slower gpu. I'm thinking I will be carrying around my laptop quite a bit. I plan on playing games in college too though and i want to be able to play the newest games like Starcraft 2.

He prob used the coupon like I did. I got the spec in my signature for 1404 and thats just because I went up to 2 gb of RAM and up to the c2d t7500 and vista premium.

hi i'm planning to buy a 1520 insirion but i see that you chose a Integrated 10/100 Network Card and Modem and i was wondering where you found that on the website cause i can't find it....and i would like that option so I can connect through a lan line using a wire....and also if i get that card....can i also get a wireless card and will it work also with the network card without any trouble....please respond...thanks

The Network Card is integrated into the Notebook motherboard so its standard with all the notebooks. There's no need to select it.
