I am a college bound student leaving on the 20th of this month, who, a month ago, came across the Studio 15 and ordered immediately with high hopes. Like most with any sense, I ordered directly from Dell themselves, and like those same folks with sense, my order was delayed horrendously. "Oh well, no big deal," I thought. "I'll just order from another vendor."

So I do. From Best Buy. They had a speedy shipment of preconfigured models that were arguably a better deal than Dell's "better" setting on the 15, so I went for it. Three or four days later, the laptop arrives and I joyously unwrap the box and get to work. Immediately, I notice oddities in the slot-load device; it wouldn't accept disc media at first, then it wouldn't eject the media, and then it simply tried to eject every three seconds whenever the button was pressed. It indefinitely made the sounds of ejection until the system was rebooted, and would randomly give a ****tail of the aforementioned symptoms from there on out. "Lame, but no big deal," echoing my previous naivete. "I'll just get a replacement."

Geek Squad, as many know, is absolutely worthless, and re-routed me back to Best Buy. The lady was incredibly helpful and nice, and sorted it all out so that she would have a brand new one shipped, and for me to send back the defective piece of crap in the next 15 days. My duplicate 15 arrives, and lo and behold- the same ****ing problem.

So now I have less than a week to send back not one, but two boxes of rubbish back to Best Buy and find a new new laptop.

I know, I know, tl;dr. But I'd like to see anybody top this one.

Crap, if any mod notices this, can he/she move it to the Dell Delays/Customer Service thread? Thanks :)
