    Hi,
I feel the need to share with you my experience with my Dell 1525.
So I got a Dell Inspiron 1525 for Christmas. I opened it up, took it out of the box, hit the power button. Nothing. Wouldn't turn on. Turns out it was defective. After three hours on the phone it was arranged that a new one would be mailed out to me in five business days. It took two and a half weeks.
I just got it last Wednesday.
Today, upon plugging it in to recharge, it failed to register that the adapter was plugged in. The adapter appeared to be working as the green light was still on, but the computer wasn't charging. I called Dell, and I've spent about four hours on the phone with them tonight. When I called, the technician asked what my problem was and I told him I had an issue with the battery charging. He said 'Oh...is it an Inspiron?" I hadn't told him what the make/model was yet. Hmmmm.

The four days I actually had my Inspiron 1525 were great. However, after it having issues again I'm getting my money refunded and buying another brand. Their solution to my problem was to pack it up, ship it out, and wait another two weeks. I'm getting a refund, obviously, this is insane. I waited two and a half weeks to get a new one only for it to have an issue too.

Good luck, and beware, if you choose to buy this laptop.

Problems with the Inspiron 15 are few and far between. That appears to be a rare case.
