Was the replacement a brand new model or refurbrished?

Within 21 days of purchase it will be new. Outside of 21 days it is up to Dell (usually will get a refurb, but people have gotten brand new systems).

    That's amazing! Congrats!

    I have a question.
So, you were given a replacement because your laptop was old but still under warranty? I guess that's a reason to get an extended warranty then?
