I am in the process of buying the new Dell Inspiron 15. I just want to know if i have made the right choice. It seems to be a really good laptop and i have seen some very positive comments within some review's on Youtube.

    Any comments will be appriciated.

    Many Thanks.

Of Course it is, it's pretty cheap for a laptop with all those goodies I have seen, backlit keyboard, good video card, and room for 8GB of memory and all for only $800.

The Inspiron 15 (1545) is a solid choice for an entry-level laptop! They look and feel well-built and are easy to use (keyboard & touchpad are very good among similarly priced models).

I purchased one a few months ago for my sister and she's very pleased with it! I would suggest keeping the price at about $650 or less, if posssible. At $700 or higher, you'd be better off with a Studio 15 (1555).

Agreed. The 1545 is pretty much as good as it gets for its starting price of $399. Any cheaper than that and you're looking at netbooks. :p

Allfiredup makes a good point as well; if you're on a seriously limited budget, the Inspiron 15 is a great choice, but once you get over $600 (the Studio 15's starting price), the Studio 15 starts looking better and better than a similarly priced Inspiron 15.

It depends on what you want to use it for, but you've probably made a good choice as far as budget price notebooks are concerned. I've had no real issues with mine. Had the display & Blu-ray drive replaced, but then my notebook is used pretty heavily (12+ hours a day probably).

Thanks guys. Yeah i am on a tight budget with this one. I only use a computer for Social Networking and also for school. I have only payed £307 for it on Dell (With discount) and i am paying this within a monthly payment of £9.97. Just waiting for the paperwork to be delieverd. Has anyone else used Dell's financial options? I applied for a personal loan on Dell and got accepted strait away. Does anyone know how long this will take before i get my new laptop?

    Many thanks for your feedback.
