"Inspiron" is the word you want :)

at any rate, looks like a fairly basic refresh of the Inspiron 1525 with a Montevina chipset.

It is new. Relatively. Nonetheless, the quoted weight is not heavier than that of the older Inspiron 1525. It is still reasonably heavy at the quoted weight of 5.8 pounds, though.
