Dell Belgium seems to avoid any pre-sales contact:
- no online chat;
- no e-mail address;
- no online form;
- no Twitter account;
- there's a Facebook account but no one answers messages (and no one posts anything by the way);
...there is a phone number and finally when you push the key for private customers they redirect you to the website.
I have never seen a company with such an inexistent pre-sales support. Do they really want to sell computers?
Duh.

you can read my thread...

maybe that will help you to decide. -
I had a terrible experience once when I tried to 'relocate my warranty location' from Asia (where the laptop was bought) to Europe (where I am staying). Multiple redirects with no substantial reason, questions averted simply because I am "not in the right support line", I had called the international support number which is a US based one yet I keep getting transferred to what I presumed to be an Asian based customer service. After 5 attempts and one whole hour spent, my technical issue was resolved.

I wouldn't go with DELL at this time either.
Their cooling solutions are sub-par to say the least.
They 'butchered' the G5 15 SE with 4800M and 5600M by allowing the CPU to reach 100 degrees C and couldn't even reach its maximum performance.
The 5600M was supposed to be drawing between 90-100W, and yet, in DELL it draws between 70-80W (making it perform slower than it should).
Very poor thermal management despite efficient AMD hardware... and that's not the only example.
Their Intel/NV laptops have relatively sub-par cooling systems as well, and it seems that their new 'gold standard' of operational CPU temperatures is 100 degrees Celsius (which is utterly stupid).
While accurate that the hw can technically run at such high temperatures, the problem arises with the fact that usually such hw won't be able to reach/sustain its maximum advertised performance, will accelerate degradation of the hw (shortening its lifespan), and the heat in question will inevitably threaten other components in the chassis which could cause random failures or malfunctions.Last edited: Jun 18, 2020
The reason why I probably won't buy a Dell laptop...
