    It keeps your cd/dvd drive in place. If you remove the screw, you can remove the cd/dvd drive.

    Ah excellent. I was playing around with my computer and had unscrewed everything (though I didn't take the case apart... couldn't figure out how) and I was worried that unscrewing that would 'break a seal' that would void my warranty because maybe the computer could have been opened.

    Speaking of the screws, I want to blow the dust out of the fans/vents, is there any way to get to the fan blades on the E1505 or can I only blow air from the vents on the sides and bottom?
