I'm thinking of buying a dell e1405/640m in the next couple days and was wondering if there was anything to watch out for (screen manufactorer etc.)? Also, should i get the WXGA+ w/ trulife screen? I've heard complaints that the glare makes it unsuable but I'd like more opinions.

Glossy is really a personal preference. You should check out some screens at BestBuy or Circuit City to see waht you like better.

I have one with the truelife sreen. It is very reflctive but I dont find it distracting except in the most bright conditions (outside on a very sunny day). The benifits way outdo the cons.

Ive been using it for like a month now and I am very satisfied with the unit. I have the glossy and I dont have any complaints. Obviously there is gonna be glare...which glossy screen doesnt have it? It runs cool and I think its solidly built.
