    Hi Everyone

I'm thinking of buying a Vostro 1700 with the following spec:

    BASE Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor T7250 (2.00 GHz, 800 MHz FSB, 2 MB L2-cache)
OPERATING SYSTEM Genuine Windows Vista® Ultimate (32Bit) - English
HARDWARE SUPPORT Base Warranty - 1 Year Business Hardware Support
    LCD 17.0" Widescreen WXGA+ (1440x900) TFT Display
INTEGRATED WEBCAM Matte Jet Black with 2.0 mega pixel camera
    MEMORY 2048MB 667MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM (2x1024)
HARD DRIVE 160GB (5400RPM) SATA Hard Drive
    GRAPHICS CARD 256MB nVidia® GeForce® 8600M GT
OPTICAL DRIVE Fixed Internal 8X DVD+/-RW Drive including Software
PRIMARY BATTERY Primary 6-cell Lithium-Ion Battery (56 WHr)

I was looking at both this and the Inspiron 1720, but they have the same internal hardware. But i've read on the forum, that there are big delays on the Inspiron

I will be placing my order towards the end of January. If I did that do you think there would still be a big delay?

    Thanks in advance
