I'm nervous about reformating my brand new e1505. I'd really like to get all the bloat ware off and get rid of the empty partition on there, but I dont want to mess with the functionality at all.
I browsed the "dell resource cd" and it doesn't seem to have everything on it. There is no media direct or dell games or anything.
I've never done this procedure before either and am not even 100% sure how to do it in the first place.
WHat do i do, lol!??
Thanks!

dell media direct...who cares...it only adds a little bit of battery life anyways.....
you can download all the drivers that you will need from the support website for your machine.....download them first burn to CD or something to wipe it out...
I suggest it 100%...did it on my e1405 and its 2x as fast. -
go to dell support and you can request the CDs for the other things

Just go thru and add/remove progs and do reg clean which is what i did.
