    This mini 9 SSD been stolen?

    Is it me or this Mini 9 SSD been stolen?
    Probably that is why I've been getting this error: PXE-E61: media test failure, check cable.?

    Well excluding that message (it's for LAN boot), it appears you have the world's first invisible SSD...

    But in all seriousness, hit F2 after powering on to enter BIOS and see if it sees some form of drive to boot from.

    I guess since there is no storage device the comp is trying to do a network boot? Now I gotta go investigate the mystery of the missing ssd.

    Yes that is typically the case if LAN boot is setup in the boot priority, it will try usually HDD then optical drive, USB devices.

    Did you buy it from somebody or from a 3rd party? They don't just grow legs and walk off. ;)

    If your pic is correct, and I have no doubt it is....your SSD is GONE! Do you remember the last time the Mini worked? This is why I ALWAYS bios passwd my drives. You can't prevent theft but it would be useless to them without the password. And no you can't re-format the drive and use it. No password, no go.
