    Hi,

I just want to see how many people are getting a replacement Dell XPS M1330 and why?

Also, how do you track this replacement order?

    Mine is because of:

    Dead Pixel
    Scratch on Keyboard
    Dent in Palm Rest

Requested today and will be notified on Wednesday once booked in. :-S

i requested a replacement because of the wobbly base, grainy screen and paint issues. i contact them on saturday to request the replacement. xps technical support was very helpful and took less than 5 minutes. Though it did take a little longer with customer service because they were telling me that I needed to talk to technical support first before they could issue me one, even though I told them technical support transferred me to them WITH a case number. After them sorting all of that out, it was relatively easy. Was given an RMA number, called back yesterday to get the order number with an estimated ship date of 9/14. Let's see if I actually receive it on 9/17.

Seems like a lot of trouble with the premium xps, I wanted to buy one when the parts shortage is over but I am having second thoughts

Most commonly for systems that is still w/in the 30 day return period, the shipment for newer systems will commonly take only 3-5 days it depends if ever there's no problem w/ the shipment. For systems outside the Dell return period then that will take a little bit longer it also depends on the availability of the system if ever the system is still shipping if not then Dell will be shipping you a different but a better system if ever you're system is no longer under production, but this will take time probably a week or 2.
