    Hey guys,
Those who have had system exchanges done after the 21 day period, how long did the whole process take? Were you able to see the specs/details of the replacement system before it was shipped/delivered? Anyone recently get a SXPS 1340 in exchange for a m1330?

I'm getting my m1330 replaced for a SXPS 1340 but the process is taking such a long time. Its been a week already and ZERO progress.

    I haven't...(sorry you haven't had any feedback).

I think you should contact Support, and find out where your *status* is at this time. That way, you will know what is going on, and they can give you more of a lead time as to to what the progression is going to be.

The build may take a bit longer, maybe not. Be sure to get your Case Number, etc. and all that e-mailed to you at the conclusion of your conversation.

    Good luck!

As previously mentioned, contact the rep or support and give them your case#. They should have no problem with pulling the info up and providing you with an order# which you will then be able to look up on the dell order status page.

If you have your customer#, you can also use that with your ship to: zip code and access your order info that way.

no its through normal chat reps. they keep just telling me it takes 2-4 weeks and that it will take another 3-4 days for the order number. I chatted with them on Tuesday and they said 3-4 days for the order number, and when I asked today for the order number, the guy literally said, " I see that system exchange has been submitted, it would take another 3-4 days for the order details to be sent".

Ok, you should have a Case Number, and copies of the Chat sessions being e-mailed to you at conclusion of the conversation, right? And, you can also print & save those convo's also.

Outside of the Case Number, there should some sort of Reference Number, at this point, I would assume. They just can't go off of a Case Number.

Tomorrow will be the 4th day, so they should have the Order Number for you. Call/and or do Chat, again...and be *firm* yet polite, for that *Order* number that was told to you *3-4* days later. Just advise, *you* as the Customer are trying to get a sense of how things are going to fall into place for you, so you know what a *normal and feasible* time line is ~ for expectation of your laptop.
