Is there a way to stop my E1505 from making my video card go into limp mode whenever I'm on battery? I'd like to at least have the choice whether I want to play games on battery or just do regular stuff and save battery.

Have you used either QuickSet or Control Panel / Power options to set it to Home use, or Maximum Performance?

Yeah I configured those, but it doesn't seem to affect the throttling on the video card.

You need to use ATI's PowerPlay feature...

I think there's a setting in the video driver you can choose to deactivate, but I guess that depend on which graphics card you have.

I have the X1400, I'll try to look for this option.
