I sent off my wifes XPS 15 for a motherboard replacement due to the GPU. I has been out of total warranty for almost a year and only had a couple months of the extended warranty for the GPU left. When they sent us the return kit they said it would take up to 15 business days to repair. It took them one, yes one. They not only replaced the motherboard and related heatsinks, they also replaced the palmrest and keyboard though I am not sure why. The mouse button were started to get stuck down so they evidently replaced them as well. My daughter had crammed several discs into the DVD drive, they repaired that and even sent the discs back with it(so THAT is where my copy of 300 went!) All in all I am very happy with the result. Yes, I know it will eventually fail again but if it last another two years I will have gotten four years out of it which will be pretty much it's useful life speed wise. I am satisfied enough that I think I am going to go order myself a new Studio.

Yep, Dell did the right thing and earned my business again. I am a very loyal customer as long as you treat me right, they haven't failed me yet. I bought my first Dell laptop almost ten years ago.

Another proof that good service = win for the company.
Thumbs up to Dell
