I am really hoping that all this will take is a new cmos battery. my date and time are always different when I turn on my dell inspiron 1545, its a 4 month old laptop, and this has been happening for about 3 weeks now. so I've been changing it to its correct date before I log onto the internet, but once in a while it changes when I'm online, which kicks me offline. and I get a feeling this started when it stormed, and we had a power outage. does this sound like a cmos problem, or something much bigger?
