I ordered my Vostro 1500 on July 19th,
had an estimated delivery date of August 14th.
Received a delay letter on August 8th,
called for cancelling my order at 5:30pm of August 13th, talked to a customer service chick that went thru my order and told I could have a full refund or a partial refund if I wanted to place another order, called back my Dell's rep to make sure in my new order I could get XP and not Vista (XP on the Vostro is something new in my country). Only thing I had to do was to call back customer service and confirm order cancellation.

It was nearly 6pm so I thought: I'll call tomorrow.

Well, the day after, my Vostro resulted shipped the day before!
That is they shipped it in the morning of the 13th.
    Amazing.

    Time travel does exist. :)
