I have a got a few days now the E1505. From the fan-hole at the left side and from both fan-holes beside the keyboard, i hear a tiny little high frequent sound when it is silent in the room. It hears like a condensator that generate this tiny beep. It is not annoying with normal working, only when it is very silent. Is there somebody who has experiences with this, or know what this is? My old Toshiba has the samething.

I know that my laptop will make some noises when I pick it up and rotate in unusual ways. I've heard of CPU's making noise, it could also be your hard drive... IDK.

I have the same sound but with much less "bass" (probably due to the recording?)... dont worry, im pretty sure its just normal laptop sounds coming from the various components.

I've had this problem with my E1705. I think it's coming from "excess" power from the CPU, or when the CPU is sitting idle and is either plugged in or on battery. The sound goes away when the CPU is put under a load (therefore increasing clockspeed). I'm guessing the CPU lets off the whine as a way to get rid of any excess power, and uses the power when under a load.

And how do you solved it? I have read that RMClock solves the problem?

What I'm trying to say is that this is an inherit thing with most laptops and isn't abnormal. If you want to use RMClock to cancel out the buzzing by raising your CPU core speed manually, be sure you know what you're doing before you attempt it (Note: RMClock can solve the problem, but you have to raise your clockspeeds, which isn't the best thing for an idling laptop).

Would using RMClock to undervolt the CPU fix this problem too? If the problem is excess power, giving the GPU should fix it right?
