    Hey all, check out this artical for overclocking a Celeron M, pretty slick stuff, and not terribly difficult. Looks like a good idea to me if you aren't under warraty! :)

    Nice but only problem is with a shorter battery life with Celeron M.

    It is pinmodded and also works with Inspiron 6000/630m,9300,xps series with pentium M 7x5 400MHz and chipset i915PM/GM, so after pinmodding bios will detect the processor as pentium m 533MHz.

    Are you talking about after the mod? No, there is no noticable decrease in battery drain with this mod.

    Oh, and add the b120/b130/1300 to the list of pinmoddable Dells...

    Just wondering, is there still enough room for the CPU pin to fit it after the pin mod?

    Yes, you use a REALLY small pin (I used a single strand of speaker wire).

    And yes, as others have said, you shouldn't lose battery life, unless you have to volt mod, which I would assume you wouldn't have to do with such a low processor
