    So i had an XPS 1530 and replaced the MB on it about 6 times dell finally decided to send me a xps 16 which has the following specs:

    XPS 1640, Intel Core 2 Duo T9600 (2.8GHz/1066Mhz FSB/6M L2 Cache)
    4GB, DDR3, 1067 MHz 2 Dimm forXPS 1640
    9-cell Battery
    15.6 FHD WLED Display in Obsidian Black with Leather and 2.0 MP Webcam
    ATI Mobility RADEON M96XT - 1GB
    250GB 7200 RPM SATA Hard Drive
    Intel 5100 Wireless-N (1x2) Half Mini-Card
    Dell Wireless 370 Bluetooth Module (2.1)

    But since dell took 21 days to send me this system, i went ahead and bought a macbook pro 13 inch which i really love, all the programs that i need for my electric eng school work, and i like it alot so im not sure if i really want to go back to windows or linux....

    The dell web site sells this system for $1800 with the same specs... I can probably sell it in craiglist for $1400 since it is brand new... So should i sell it and buy an imac??

    ahh im confused because i tough i was going to get another 1530 and i was 100% sure to sell it but.... i got a nice system so not sure what to do :(

    If you really like the Macbook, and it works well for you, why keep the XPS 16?

    nicely spec'd xps 16 but if you don't need it, sell it and buy something you want :)

    i kinda wonder if is worth it to get a desktop (imac) i mean im a student cant really make up my mind if i spending $1200 on a desktop is worth it
