    seller's rating is 0?...hm....
with those specs it does look way too good to be true.

    some people..

LOL he's so professional too...when asked about how he can sell at such a cheap price:
"HELLO SIR THANK YOU FOR THE COMENT'S,AND REGARDING YOUR QUESTION.WHE YOU HAVE A COMPANY LIKE MINES YOU WILL FIND OUT."

It doesnt look right. He has a 0 feedback on ebay, his answer he gave to the person's question was very strange and vague. And there is no way he could make profit or break even selling units like that.

Just speaking from common sense here, I would ahve to go with it def being a scam. If that person really had those laptops, They could put the price up MUCH higher, and still ahve the price be lower than Dells and make a ton of money. The 0 feedback and rediculously low price screams scam to me.

Also, be well aware that a User like this may very well create a few fake accounts to "buy" the first few laptops and then ahve them leave positive feedback.

If this guy is able to get it to you before next year (unlike Dell) then it is too good to be true.

I agree with everyone else. 0 seller rating. hmmmm :nah: Also, I do not think the 1710 come with a intergrated camera, only the 1210. And the price, man. You could not go to Dell.com and configure a 1710 close to that price, even today. :radar: :radar: SCAM ALERT!! :realmad:

The price, the feedback, the poor English, and the very very bad answer to a simple question all tells me something is wrong.

i just wouldn't trust the seller for anything. if they want to build their rep, they should be smart enough to start off selling small things before going to laptops..

As for ebay...no you dont necessarily get your money back.

The trend is to get as many sales as quick as you can, have them paid for, ebay transfer within days and then close the account.

If you dont get the system you initiate a complaint and they put a hold on the account....oooops too late cause they got the money already.

If, after months, they find you are right they will do a reverse on the bank account....again oooops...money is gone.

I had a minor situation just as this and never got the 60 bucks back.

Ebay doesnt necessarily guarantee your money...you have to read the fine print...especially if u use a credit card.

lol his sale got closed. i also sent him a nice email offer to which he promptly agreed...

    me:
    >HI I AM WANTING TO BUY THIS 2 SYSTEMS. WILL YOU TAKE $700 AS A DISCOUNT FOR BUYING TWO?

    him:
    >HELLO : REAGARDING YOUR QUESTION!YOU CAN GET 2 SYSTEMS IF YOU PAY A LEAST $750 FOR EACH! THAN YOU DONT FORGET IS FREE SHIPPING !

that's an easy way to tell it's a scam. by the way i didn't just get his reply..i just forgot about this thread. :p

everyone..or mostly everyone..even internet based websites..that claim to have offers like this are more often than not scams..I would definatley stay away. and with 0 feedback..that makes it even worse? how long has he been a member? contact ebay somehow and ask about this...but I would def. stay away. You can always customize a NEW one at dell if you are really set on the XPS or go to like xoticpc..or powernotebooks.com and customize there. Or just go with the Dell Vostro or Inspiron..definatley a lot better..and you know its legit.
