    Hi,
my M1210 had a msg while booting up that the Toshiba bluetooth stack has expired and require to purchase a licensed version.I called Dell support and was instructed to uninstalled the Toshiba bluetooth stack. Now it is using the Microsoft bluetooth stack. However only my bt mouse seems to work,my motorola bt stereo headset and Treo650 cannot work.Although they were paired and discovered by the system.Anyone here have the same problem and can reconmend a solution? Thanks

I've never had the tosiba stack ask me to purchase a license version, but then again, I don't use it very often. Did dell have an explanation as to why you needed to purchase the license? Did you call the specialized XPS Support?

The toshiba stack is just a driver. I don't get why you might have to purchase it.

The microsoft stack leaves much to be desired. I had a problem with it constantly dropping signal. I eventually found the toshiba stack somewhere but it works much better hahaha, sorry that's not much help but just know someone somewhere has been in a similar situation. maybe try to reinstall the toshiba stack off of the dell drivers website.

edit: this is on a e1505

Yep, I think it's kind of wierd too and I did use the XPS support.Initially they were not familiar that it had the Toshiba stack at all.I have since did a system restore and things seem back to normal with no msg yet.Hopefully it remains this way.fingers crossed
