    Touch pad problem in Inspiron 1420

    I'm facing serious problem with the touch pad of my laptop. When it runs with the battery backup, it is normal. no problem. But when the charger is plugged on the touch pad starts malfunctioning. :( Click buttons (right/left click) are okay but pointer does not move properly.

    Did you update your touchpad drivers via the Dell support site?

    Yes, I downloaded latest driver from Dell support site and installed it.
