I have to keep downloading the driver repeatedly from the Dell website. Any reason this could be happening?

Wow, another user that had identified being able to program the corners of their touchpad! There is hope.

gsu_paintballer where are you downloading the driver from? When you load it do you have the tap functionality for a bit and then it goes away or are you indicating that you had it at one point and now the driver you're loading doesn't offer it?

When you double click your touchpad icon in the tray do you see screenshots like the ones referenced in this thread:

imar3l has also been assisting me in trying to get this to work correctly.

    Thanks!

My view is on the right, his is on the left.

I downloaded the driver from here. http://support.dell.com/support/dow...1&impid=-1&formatcnt=1&libid=17&fileid=160150

Its as if the functionality goes away, and when I go to the screen referenced in my screen shot, the selection the two of us have made is unavailable, and I have to reinstall the driver.

For what it's worth, I am using a Vista themed XP on an E1505
