It's been 24 hours and I still haven't seen my order move anywhere from Nashville. Damn DHL.. should I be worried?
-
I wouldn't be, it's very possible that it got backed up by other shipments, or that the status hasn't been correctly/recently updated.
Now if it stays there many many days, then yea I would call and see what's up. But one day is not a big deal, especially since it came from China and it has to go thru all the customs and whatnot. -
What exactly does it say about your shipment?
-
I wouldnt be.....especially if you just had standard shipping. Sometimes they let them sit there for two days, or maybe they just havent updated the info on where it is because the warehouse its at now hasnt scanned it
-
Oh well.. at least I'll have Bioshock to keep me busy for now
For now it just says:
8/20/2007 12:00 am Shipment Acknowledged Nashville, TN
If it was in transit I'd know about that, or do they sometimes not update the status? -
I don't have much experience with DHL, but if they are anything like UPS, they'd list a departure scan. That is, when the item was scanned upon leaving a given destination. So, if it had left Nashville I think it would've been scanned. I could be wrong though.

I ordered on July 13th and don't have my laptop yet, should I be worried?
-
Shipment acknowledged means Dell has sent in the shipping info but DHL doesn't necessarily even have the package yet.
They typically only update the status at each of their checkpoints, so you may not see that updated until it reaches the next hub. -
Thanks that's what I wanted to hear :]
-
Mine said exactly the same thing, right after midnight on the 20th. It was delivered this afternoon, so there is still hope!!!
-
Do you live close to Nashville? Maybe that's how it got to you so quickly. I live in NYC so it'd be unrealistic to expect the shipment today
-
Call 1800-call-dhl and it usually is updated a little bit quicker and should at least be able to tell you your EDD
Tracking info: it's sitting in Nashville?
