Ive got a Studio XPS 1647 and have the opportunity to trade for a brand new Inspiron 15r. My question is, will I see a huge degrade in performance. The specs for my laptop are in my sig and the 15r has: i5 460m, radeon 550v, 6 gigs of ram, 320 hd, bluetooth and wifi. Its pretty decked out, but will i see a degrade in performance. I can live with a slight degrade, like 5-10 frames per second in games.

terrible trade, NO. Not only you will be getting a performance drop but also lose the amazing speakers the SXPS has.

SXPS has better build quality than Inspirons. I would assume SXPS also has a much better screen, Inspirons almost always get LCDs from the bottom of the heap, they're budget notebooks.
