I just put in a 1537 keyboard into my 1555. It has the old configurations for key positioning which is good, but I want to take advantage of the new backlight feature of the 1537 keyboard, how do i turn on that feature?

There usually is a secondary ZIF connector for a backlit keyboard. If your motherboard does not have that secondary connector, then you cannot get a backlit keyboard.

Yeah, I hooked up the wire, and it lights up when the computer starts up, but I cant turn it on yet because of software i think. And im not sure how to go about making the software work.
