    Hi,

    I am buying this E1505 for $1255. What do you think about this configuration?

    T2500 2 GHz
    1 GB DDR2 533 MHz RAM
    15.4" Ultrasharp WS SXGA+
    80 GB 7200rpm SATA HDD
    8X DVD Burner
    Intel® PRO 3945 and Dell 350 Bluetooth
    256MB ATI MOBILITY™ RADEON® X1400
    Integrated Sound Blaster® Audigy® ADVANCED HD Audio
    85 WHr 9-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery

    I will replace the memory with 2 x 1 GB DDR2 667 Mhz modules. Do you have any advice for brand on that too?

    Corsair
    Patriot
    Kingston
    Mushkin


    Check out newegg, they have what you need.

    I saw the G.Skill too. But I will buy two 1 gigs and I don't want to have any problems. I was thinking about Corsair's too, maybe I'll go with that.

    That would be really great. I thought Dell uses DHL for delivery. I got my old E1705 from DHL.

    I order my bag for my e1505 and it came from DHL, yet my e1505 laptop is coming by UPS
    Both items, order directly from dell!

    Be like me, and NOT get confused with the 2 different tracking number styles ;)

    did you upgrade your ram on your configuration. does it not intially come with 512 mb ram? If so, why?

    Which bag did you order? I am thinking about getting one.

    I was thinking about 512 mb ram, but now they are giving 1 gb ram for free. At least they say like that. Anyway I'll sell my 1 gig as soon as I got the 667s.
