OK. I am on my second stick of RAM from Tigerdirect.com.

    I have a Dell Inspiron 5150...I HAD 512MB RAM...two slots, each had 256MB RAM

I am trying to upgrade to this Centon DDR-333/266 1GB RAM..SO-DIMM, 200 pin

I am going to leave the 256MB RAM in one slot and add the 1 GB in the other.

The computer won't start...I ONCE got it to the utility setup and it froze...usually the bar at the start bottom just stops mid way and thats it. This is getting really annoying...What am I doing wrong??
