699 off xps 1330, but they make you purchase the mobile broadband, and they get rid of geforce 8400 gs and the 3 year warranty,

so at the end you pay more...

Dell must think all of its customers are idiots.

Yeah! Screw Dell for giving everyone $700 off a computer.

    /s

After spending time in sales and support, at times, I agree with Dell there.

They advertised an event, and come out with a deal thats the exact same price as every single day. Look at the what you get before you speak. 699 off but they subtracted many things to even it out.

699 off does not mean anything, you must always look at the final price with Dell.

They will probably do the same thing with the XPS M1530 tomorrow...

No word on coupons or deals for the M1730?

That's the laptop I'm hoping to get.

Actually I was talking about the M15.

So this deal Dell has is only for the computers they have pre built, and not on the ones you can build on your own?

101 - in the Dell Coupon tab at the top of the page you will find 20 & 30% off coupons for Inspirons - not the M's - but it does answer your question. :)

They raised the price of the battery from 100 to 120.

Do you know anything about computer pricing? The "$700 off" works out to their everyday price. So yeah, screw Dell for advertising and promoting such a worthless XPS spring sale and wasting my time. I'm glad in a way though, $1200+ sitting in my bank account b/c there is absolutely no reason to buy an XPS right now.
