For those have followed my saga thanks for your replies and assistance in my time of despair...lol In a nut shell:
Bought Complete Care add-on for my warranty plan then proceeded soon there after to water log my nice new E1505. The timing of this does look bad for me, "oh he just bought the complete care to replace his water logged laptop"...people can think what they want but I did buy the add-on before I drenched my laptop. Moving on, the CC went active on the 2nd...I don't plan on calling Dell until around X-Mas time because I'm sure Dell will be suspicious as anyone would be. My question is..once the ball starts rolling...how long until I get a replacement? Thanks in advance.

not to be mean but don't assume you will get a replacement you may get a repaired machine
-
That's fine...I know I messed up....lol I had water coming out of the USB ports so if they can fix it more power to them....rather they fix it anyway. But how long of a turn around time?
-
my guess would be maybe two weeks if fixing replacing maybe 3 that is just my guess
-
Sounds about right. Personally, I hate when coincidence implicates the victim. That's why I bought my upgraded warranty now rather than later.
-
funny thing is this guy probably spilled the water before he got the warranty. Just my guess.
-
LOL a few people have done that. There machine messes up then they buy a warrenty and replace it -
-
Oh I know I would too.

My friend got his CC plan after he dropped his XPS down a stair well. Like was said, the ironic part was that I really did get the plan before I drowned it at a x-mas party we had. Thanks for the suggestions, just have the play the waiting game for a little while......and if I had drowned it before I bought the plan? you're darn right I would've got it right after...lol so would ever one else in here....lol Next time around, just going to get it when I buy it.

well, i dont know, why don't you be honest and just tell them how it is? Can they really refuse? I honestly don't believe so. that's just bad business ethics.
