    Turn off LCD

    Hi
    I have a DELL Inspiron 510m . When I shake my Laptop , Laptop's LCD to be turn off but Hard and Power LED are turn on . I changed Power supply but my problem doesn't solve . I had this problem some month age but it solved but I don't know Why it's come back ?!!!

    Because maybe, just maybe, you're not supposed the SHAKE a laptop!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good grief!!! Maybe it's from abuse. If you are shaking it to recreate the issue, and it is happening, you are 1) only making matters worse, and 2) potentially going to crash your Hard drive. Now, that said, it's prolly the LCD connection to the Mobo or the cable to the LCD. Will require a teardown and test to know for sure. Seen it happen on a few and just needed to be resecured. And for goodness sake, QUIT SHAKING IT!!!!

    I shake it quickly today but LCD not to be shut down !!!!!
    but yesterday when I shake it LCD to be turned off !!!!

    bad connections or bad lcd going to die soon

    start with connection first. if it doesn't help replace lcd kit
