    Hi!

I was wondering if thier is a way to turn off the screen on a Inspiron e1505, like pressing FN + F4 or something like that.

I know you can make it turn of after (example) 5 min of inactivity, but I want to be able to do it manuelly, is there a way?

Probably not what you're looking for, but closing the lid will turn off the display.

Just as Mark said, the only thing you can do is close the lid. Dell doesn't have any short cut keys to turn the screen off. I'll have to do a bit of searching, but I thought we had a user suggest some software that would allow you to turn off your screen. I'll give you an update if i find it.
