    Turning off the wifi beep?

    Anyone know if you can turn off the beep the internal wifi makes when it aquires a connection? Its awfully loude and annoying.

    Device manager->view->hidden devices->Under nonplug and play, right click on beep to disable.

    cool, this is the motherboard beep speaker I take it? ahh well.. not that I want my laptop to beep in windows for any other reason. ;)

    yeah that was the PC Speaker. If you have the intel card, there should be an option in the settings but i have yet to find it. We've had several users post the solution on here, so it shouldn't be that hard to find out where exactly it is out. I'll see if i can find a link or two.
