Short answer is no but you could get an external Matrox device that allows you to do just that - don't remember the name but a search should turn it up.

Which medium range laptops support this feature? By two external monitors do you mean using laptop's lcd and an external monitor at same time or having two separate external monitor connected to laptop.

    It's the Matrox DualHead2Go.
$150, but I guess if you need it, you need it. The reviews I've seen in the mags seem to be about half and half good and bad.
They also have a triple monitor unit too.

I've used the 1505's lcd along with a 17" external panel for quite a while. The setup works just like other dual monitor setups, but with the different sizes, it does take some getting used to.
I found the dual setup to be great in apps like photoshop. The smaller screen gets all the pallets and tools, with the project full screen on the larger monitor.

    I use my SXGA+ (1680x1050) with an external 17" at 1280x1024. Not a bad set-up.

I may get a 1600x1200 external, but, this is fine for now.

thanks, yeah I knew about the Matrox. I was just wondering if there was another way. I currently use the notebook lcd and an external 20inch widescreen. I want to use 2 20in. monitors =). oh well
