    Hi,

I have a Dell Inspiron e1405 and I just purchased a Microsoft Wireless Notebook Mouse 3000. My problem is that the mouse requires a vastly different pointer tracking speed than the touchpad in order to be usable (the mouse about in the middle, the touchpad cranked all the way to the max).

Anyone know if there's a way to set the pointer speeds for the two devices separately (at the same time), so I can switch quickly between them without having to go into the control panel every time?

Googling revealed some people using an AutoHotKey script to make the change quickly, so I might try that if I can't find another answer.

    Thanks!
