    Do you pay tax or other hidden fees when you buy a configured Vostro or Inspiron?

    Also I am a student, can i buy the buisness class vostro?

    Yeah...they don't check if you're a business or not. just configure online and you'll save hundreds off and Inspiron

    Even if online companies don't charge taxes, it is your duty to pay the same when you file your returns. Honest citizens pay taxes.

    Honest or not, there aren't many states that Dell doesn't charge tax in, so it's likely a moot point.

    Jayjubear I just received my Inspiron 1721 from the outlet which I purchased online. I am from Indiana taxes are added to the price.

    You pay what Dell quotes on the website, which would include any local or state taxes as are applicable.

    Vostros aren't 'business class'.
