    Hi,
I indent to get a dell studio 1537, but the shop where I want to buy it doesn't specify which kind of display it has. Also their tech support is to dumb to get the info from anywhere else except their own page. (they provided a link to the 1555 model to get the resolution from there... duh).

My questions are, what resolutions are in the 1537 ? I want one with 1440x900 so, is there the posibility to get a 1280x800 one ? or all the 1537 and ATI 3450 come with at least 1440x900.
Also, do all the 1537 come with webcam ?

On Dell's site only the configurator for 1555 is available, so I can't see what where the options for 1537.
    Thanks.

Yes, it's possible. That happened to me (in Hungary). The webshop listed like almost all specs wrong. They didn't list HDMI and eSata, tho my comp have it. They listed Intel 4500 and I have 4500 MHD. Also, they listed 1440*900, and I got 1280*800. :(

Your resolution is irrevellant to your VGA, Studio 1537 has 3 types of screens available. You can still check the 1537 configurations at dell.co.uk I think.

Also, if I'm right, all 1537 have webcam installed.

UK configurator has only 1280*800 and 1920*1200. The webcam can't be removed it seems.
Have you returned your laptop and asked for what was quoted ? Or just kept it?

Right now I'm trying to call my way up the tech support to get the famous Service tag from the laptop, which should solve all my issues.

Indeed, UK configurator right now don't have 1440*900, they are probably out of stock.

I didn't return, I need(ed) my computer every day to work, and already sold my old one that time. I have a desktop at home aswell but too much hassle installing and configuring all the software I need, so I decided to keep this.

Most likely I paid for the 1280*800 price, because it's the listed res. for other 1537's at the same price, but different colour. Still, a bit annoying. :S

On the 1537, the WXGA (1280x800) and WXGA+ (1440x900) are both WLED displays. The WUXGA (1920x1200) is the only CCFL display available for the 1537.
