    I ordered my Dell XPS M1530 yesterday and the estimated delivery date is 21st May, will it really take that long because i've heard of people getting theres within a week and i need it fairly soon.

    How long have delivery times taken for XPS M1530 in UK?

    I ordered my Vostro on the 9th April and had a Del date of 22nd April.
    It then changed to the 22nd May for no reason !
    I phoned Dell and they couldn't give the reason ??

    Since my call, My laptop has moved on and is currently in transit to me.
    So should be here well before the 22nd May.

    The Dell sales said that systems with the 9Cell battery were delayed due to lack of stock (Fire in S.KOREA).

    Did you order one of these ?

    I was told 1 month for delivery... my heart sunk, but they just told me this covers there backs just in case of delay.

    From my phone call to place the order to delivery was 4 working days.

    I was impressed.

    Just follow the tracking on-line and you will see how fast it moves.

    Same in France. We've gotta wait about 2 weeks until we get our laptop. So don't pay much attention to that. May come earlier or may come later.

    the initial ETA is totally inaccurate.. I was in luton in january when i ordered my vostro...i ordered it on the 31st of december and received it on he 11th of january....my initial ETA was 8th of february..That's CRAZY....but anyways, you should track you laptop through the mail they send you....i did not track it and i was extremely surprised when i received it on that day!!!
