    UK Dell Owners - Anyone recvd an LG screen recently?

    Hi

    I am on my second screen from Dell. Currently I have a grainy wsxga+ SEC screen.

    I have spoken to 2 Tech supervisors requesting the LG screen, both say they are fully aware of my situation and are currently waiting for stock of the LG screens.

    I have been promised a replacement when they are available. The reps insist they will contact me when they have an update.

    I spoke to them 8 days ago. Has anyone from the UK only, received a replacement WSXGA+ truelife LG screen within the last couple of weeks or indeed bought a new notebook from Dell which has this screen??

    I want to call them again and if they say they are still out of stock or awaiting an update I can counter this.

    Hi Ukclaret,
    I have just got LG in my new Precision M6300 - 1440x900 (never know the symbols). It is all right. Light bleed at the bottom, a bit dark bottom corners
    and not-so-great horizontal angles. But apart from that - very good quality.

    I am UK possitive :)

    my inspiron has a auo screen and it is perfect, no grain and literally perfect, guess i got lucky
