First time poster, long time lurker.
Ordered a srudio 15 a fortnight ago, arrived yesterday. Incredibly well-featured and stylish machine. Only problem is that it seem to have been fittted with a Mobility 3400 card, not a 3450. This is confirmed in the Vista welcome centre, device manager where it states: "mobility 3400 series" and also 3DMark 06.
This is not a huge issue as I don't game on my laptop (I even requested it with intel graphics, but they wouldn't oblige), but nevertheless, I would like to receive what I have paid for.
Can anyone else with a studio 15 confirm that their machine states 3450 under device manager/3D Mark or the welcome centre?

I believe the "mobility 3400 series" includes the 3450, the word SERIES being the main word.

Many thanks for the reply.
I see your point, but for example, take my desktop which has a 7950gt installed. Nowhere does it state in 3DMark or device manager that it is a "7900 series". It states the model of the card, which is 7950gt.
Another point that may be relevent is that on some review models that surfaced online, the Studio 15 was shipped with a mobility 3400 series card. I'm just looking for a fellow Studio owner to confirm what they have in their machine. -
Mine says 3400 series, but it actually is the 3450, don't worry about it, its just in the series. The studio 17 says 3600 series.

Many thanks. -
Even the link for the 3450 on the ATI website will direct you to the 3400 series.
