LOL Hope your oaulary does't ilude ay of the letters o the otto row
-
Ouch. That's no good
-
Wow, what kind of moron passed that design?
-
missing \| key and the #~
-
Probably the same guy who put that sticker with like 10 different languages in the bottom left corner
-
The UK keyboard on the 1310 is wrong because the left "shift" key has been made larger (and the right "shift" key smaller), thus moving the entire bottom row of letters to the right.
Basically, Dell have made-up a completely non-standard keyboard.
To see what the keyboards should look like, go here:

I used a UK keyboard (german IBM Model M) for a few months (until carpal tunnel made it mandatory for an ergo keyboard) and it took a while getting used to the \ and small shift key.

-
Oh yes I understand that. I got out the uk keyboard and was just looking at Dell's layout and that is going to screw people up horribly
-
That is just so retarded. Whoever designed and approved that layout should be fired.
-
Dell is going to have to replace a lot of keyboards.
-
Jeepers criminy! That's uncool.
Say, did anyone notice the image was courtesy of NBR? -
-
Does the UK version of the XPS M1330 have the same problem?
-
Btw, for the UK vostro 1510 has the same keyboard problem. -
Anyone have used this laptop or the bigger 1510 ?
I'd like to know (Also via mp) how the keyboard is, if it is comfortable and has or note some flex. -
Why can't we all just use the same keyboard layout anyway?
Oh right, the 'pound' sign...
UK buyers, beware of Vostro 1310
