    Hey guys!!

    I need your help urgently!!

I downloaded vista ultimate 64 bit, and yesterday i formatted my pc in order to install it. However, i forgot that on a 1420 notebook you have to load the sata driver in the vista instalation dialogue, so, now my computer doesn't boot into vista and always gives out a blue screen just before entering vista.

As you can see, i know whats the problem here. I know i have to re.-install vista and in the installation window load the SATA driver for vista 64. However, the REAL problem is that i am totally unable to find this driver. I've searched in the dell site, intel site, and haven't found it. I found something in the intel page but its a .exe installation so that isn't useful because i need the driver already "extracted"

I write here because i know you guys are the beasts when it comes to solve down these driver issues, so if anybody can find that driver for me somewhere, and place the address, i will be VERY grateful because my 1420 is now useless as it doesnt even boot into vista.

    Thank you very much
    Anibal

if you have access to another computer, download win rar, it can extract files from .exe files. also, try drivermagician, or reinstall with the recovery disc
