So I have a Studio 15, and I have a USB laptop fan made by Rocketfish, that one of my friends gave to me. I wanted to know if anyone here thought using a fan would be a good idea with a laptop...is it really THAT much more beneficial? If I have my laptop just sittting on the desk plain and simple...what's the difference?

    Lower temperatures. :p

Less heat is always a good thing with computers. It can make your battery last longer, among other things.

I suspect that using battery power to run a fan to cool the laptop wouldn't save battery power overall.
    That said, cooler is better.
