This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I have a 1420 dual booting xp and vista. Why is it that when I enter XP, none of my USB ports on the left side work (right side ports work fine)? This is not the case in Vista though because I can use both sides...but my primary OS is XP so I kind of want to fix it.
