I just got my E1405 and I didni't realize the Kensington dock doesn't support video.... I bought the Targus dock with video, but it only goes to like 1024 x 780 or something like that..... does anyone know of any docks that can support higher resolutions? I guess I can just plug my monitor into the side of my laptop everytime I get home but wondering if there is a way around that.... I guess I was spoiled with the D-Series dock I had with my 600M...... :)

To my knowledge, the targus dock is the only universal dock that supports video. The Inspiron series never recieved a dedicated docking station, so that definitely can't be a solution. I think you might be out of luck. Sorry.

Taxpayer is right, and per my review, the video over USB is not viable.
