    USB error 10 - Vostro 1500

    I've got a Vostro 1500 and am getting an error when trying to conect a USB jostick (Saitek Cyborg 3D Gold) to the laptop. It comes up with "This device cannot start. (Code 10)"

    I've tried re-installing the drivers for both the USB and the joystick itself, but no luck so far. Can anyone advise?

    Code 10 means the drivers cannot load. Its either a Vista (or XP) problem, or you have drivers for the right product but the wrong OS, or you need to download the latest drivers.

    Well the thing is, I've downloaded the correct (and latest) drivers from Saitek and installed them, but still no joy. Any other ideas?
