Hi everybody, hows everyone doing. The issue i have with my USB port is that it can't read external hard drives or USB flash drives. When I attempt to plug in devices it does not read most of the times. And when it does read, it freezes on me when i try to open the drive. I have taken advice from other peers and they told me to update my chipset driver. Apparently my problem was not resolved :( Does anybody know how to fix this issue? Im in desperate need of advice, its been like this for months  Thank you all for your support :D

What laptop do you have? What operating system do you have? What error messages do you get?

I have a inspiron E1505 from Dell. I really don't get any error messages. When I plug External drives in, it doesnt load. And when i click My computer to access the drive, it freezes up on me. When it does read, it takes extremly long to load. When it does load, it doesnt read ANY files in the drive. Any suggestions?
